Ladies Tea Party

Guiding Light founder Julianne Burk will be speaking at a Ladies Tea Party on Saturday May 11th at 1pm. We hope you can come support this wonderful event!

We invite you to join us for an afternoon of faith, fellowship and fundraising at our Mother’s Day Weekend – Ladies Tea Party! 

Bring your mothers, daughters, grandmothers, friends and family, ladies 12 and older welcome. This will be a wonderful time of fellowship as you will enjoy:

Guiding Light’s 9th Annual Evening Of Inspiration dinner is fast approaching and we would love to reserve a place for you at one of our tables!

This simply elegant event is a time to celebrate God’s work in the lives of the wonderful ladies we serve. In addition to a catered meal, there will be speakers, door prizes, and silent auction.

Seats are $60 a person, or a table of 8 for $450. Consider inviting your coworkers or church family to join you. All money raised at this event goes towards supporting the ministry’s operating costs.

Save the Date for this year’s Evening of Inspiration!

October 19th 2023 at the FOP Lodge on Robb Avenue.

Our theme this year will be Simply Elegant. We hope you can join us for a night of fun, encouragement, and (as always) celebrating both the wonderful women who stay with us and God’s providence for this ministry, now in its 10th year.

More details as well as information about purchasing tickets to come at a later date.

If you’d like to volunteer to help with the set up and tear down of the event, to provide/coordinate a gift basket for the raffle, or serve in the kitchen please contact us.

We at Guiding Light Ministries are excited to invite you to our 8th Annual Evening of Inspiration Fundraising Dinner.

What is the Evening of Inspiration?
The Evening of Inspiration is an important night for our ministry; it is a chance for the community to show their generous support of our ministry, but more importantly, it is an opportunity for us to celebrate the life and testimony of the wonderful ladies who we serve in our ministry!

Join us for a formal, catered meal. We will listen to stories of how God has worked in their lives and how they have persevered to overcome hardship in the face of trauma and recovery.

7th Annual Evening of Inspiration

We at Guiding Light Ministries are excited to invite you to our 7th Annual Evening of Inspiration Fundraising Dinner. This will take place on October 28th, 2021 at the Civic Center City Club, starting at 6 pm.

This is a formal event, so get fancy and come celebrate the success stories of residents past and present. Our focus this year will be the effects of homelessness in our community regarding housing, recovery, and trauma. We are looking forward to an evening of hope in the face of hardship.

The cost is $50/seat or a table of eight for $350. So sign up your agency/church/club/family/self and grab a seat while there is still one available.

Note: We are still accepting donations towards our silent auction. If you have something you wish to contribute, please let us know.
